This is an 8-channel auto lighting control system. It can perform functions such as sound activation (sound response) for turning the power ON/OFF, and automatic flashing operations. I lost the AC adapter during a move, but both devices were still receiving power (about half a year ago). I can confirm that the device with the power cable still receives power, but please consider this a junk item for parts, just in case.
