Inspired by the half-zip pullover shirts used as workwear in the 1930s, mainly by mechanics and others whose work could be hindered by snagging on clothing, this piece features specially woven original wool fabric, a distinctive fan-shaped Talon zipper, high-quality reproduction cat-eye buttons, and a faithful reproduction of chain embroidery of an aircraft maintenance company on the back. The front features a simple design with a deep placket and two flap pockets, making it a faithful reproduction of the original. Due to the embroidery, the number produced at the time was very small, making this new, unused item extremely rare. Although it is size 38, the actual measurements are as stated above, and it has a slightly relaxed silhouette.
