Please contact me before purchasing. ********************************************************* ♪ This is a pair set of guinomi cups/sake cups/rock glasses, almost unused, featuring the techniques of gold leaf and lacquer, and is a Shizuoka Prefecture Intangible Cultural Property, "Kongou Ishime-nuri" (Diamond Stone Grain Lacquer). ♪ The dimensions are: the right one with the black lacquered base has a mouth diameter of 5.5cm x height 6.5cm, and weighs 87g. The left one, with the cute, rounded shape and red lacquer, has a mouth diameter of 5.6cm x height 6.3cm, and weighs 105g. ♪ "Kongou Ishime-nuri" is a masterpiece where gold leaf is applied to the glass, and then lacquer is used to create a unique sandy stone grain finish. It's a unique beauty created by the fusion of different materials: gold leaf, lacquer, and glass. Made by Toba Shitsugei in Shizuoka City. ♪ Only the items themselves, as I have lost the box and pamphlet. I believe they were only used a little once, and have been carefully stored. They are in very clean condition. ♪ The gold leaf with the red cherry blossom pattern has a gorgeous and elegant design.
