It was something that had been in the family since the previous generation, so considering that, I believe it is a work from at least 90 years ago. However, there is no way to confirm this now. I was told by my parents to cherish it because it was made from genuine Iga clay. I have loved this piece for many years because of its color and dignity. This is an item I would like someone knowledgeable about Iga-yaki to see. I would be happy to meet someone who appreciates it. In the 8th photo, there appears to be a chip? around the base of the vase, but it is smooth to the touch. I don't know if it was there from the beginning or if it occurred over time. There is no inscription on the box, and although there appears to be a mark on the back that might be the artist's name, I cannot read it. Those familiar with Iga-yaki will understand. As it is an old item, there are no major damages such as cracks or chips other than those in the 6th photo, but I have not mentioned dust marks from the manufacturing process, glaze imperfections, kiln marks, age-related deterioration, or stains, so please refer to the photos.
