This is a charming masu (wooden box) with a cool design featuring goldfish. It would be great as a decorative item, or you could enjoy it by putting sake in it♪ I believe the wood is hinoki cypress. Because it was stored wrapped in newspaper, the pleasant scent of hinoki is almost gone (^_^;) There are some splinter-like parts. Please check the photos for details.
