This is a high-quality fukuro obi (formal obi) from Kawashima Textile. It is often featured in "Utsukushii Kimono" (Beautiful Kimono) magazine. I purchased it from a kimono shop and wore it once. It is in very beautiful condition, but there is a small spot of discoloration. I didn't notice it until I inspected it for this listing. It's really tiny, so I don't think it will be noticeable when worn. (Please see the images) Since it uses silver and gold threads, it has a high-class feel and can be worn at formal events.
