Simply turn it clockwise to increase the volume and counterclockwise to decrease the volume. The DRIVE control controls the overall amount of distortion/overdrive and inputs into the signal path. Turning it clockwise increases the distortion, while turning it counterclockwise decreases the distortion. The new feature in V3 is the addition of BASS, MIDS, and TREBLE controls. We decided it was time to incorporate a full Marshall-style tone stack to faithfully replicate a Marshall amplifier. All three of these controls cut and boost the frequency bands, and are relatively flat at the 12 o'clock position. The 1/4″ jack on the right side is the input, and the output jack is on the left side.
