The color is turquoise blue on the surface and bright yellow on the lining. Photo 3 is the closest to the actual color. Photos 1 and 2 look like a much calmer blue due to the lighting, but please understand that this is due to my lack of photography skills. It is very light and has excellent heat retention. There are pockets on both sides. It can be folded up small enough to fit in a bag. I think you'll feel brighter in the cold season with a down jacket in vibrant blue and yellow. I plan to fold it up small and compress it for shipping, so please be aware of creases.
