I am selling this item due to clearing out my grandmother's house. I frequently visited the kiln of Ueno-yaki and purchased this item there. The kiln is likely Kumanogaya Koho. It seems that people overseas use this as a pot cover or for flower arrangements, and I think it would be lovely for those purposes as well. I believe the purchase date was between 1980 and 1995, but it looks a little different from the mainstream Ueno-yaki, so it may be older. I was buying a lot of pottery from Kitakyushu, and the design is similar to Oribe-yaki, so there's a slight possibility. I wasn't able to ask the owner about it. There is no box. Condition: Unknown how many times it was used. Please judge from the photos. I think it is in very clean condition, with no scratches or chips. Size: Diameter 15 cm, Height 11 cm Weight: 667g I will be listing other tea ceremony items and pottery from Kitakyushu, so please take a look at my other items if you are interested. Price cannot be lowered for about six months from the date of listing.
