Wajima-nuri (Wajima Lacquerware) This is a set of 4 sake cups from Wajimaya Zenjin. These sake cups have a finish that is different from the usual smooth Wajima-nuri. The inside has brush marks, with silver powder sprinkled and polished on top, representing swirling water currents. The outside also has spatula marks, and the texture of "jinoko" (earth powder), which is usually used for the base coat, is left as is. These are autumn sake cups with a maple leaf design on the rim. [Excerpt from Wajima-nuri Zenjin's website] The color is black with a calm, gold-like color on the inside, and a maple leaf pattern is drawn. I took them out of the box and stored them on a shelf, so I chose "Like New" condition. [Unused] There is no box or accessories. They will be wrapped in packing material for shipping.
