Thank you for viewing. This is a Wit's RZ250 (4L3) (1980). I rode an RZ when it was first released, so I collected various models, including plastic models. There weren't many detailed models, but I knew "Wit's is releasing one!" about 10 years ago, and immediately bought two, one black and one white. The wheels, handlebars, suspension, center stand, and side stand are movable, and the reproduction of details is high, making it a superb model. The most distinctive feature is the color reproduction. You might not understand unless you rode one, but from a distance, they look like ordinary white and black. However, the white is "YAMAHA New Pearl White," a slightly yellowish white that sparkles, and the black is "New Yamaha Black," a black that sparkles when you look closely. These colors were very innovative at the time. There are no other miniature RZ250s that have replicated this. However, the black one was displayed for a while after assembly and then stored in a case. A few years ago, I noticed a "seepage" of something sticky from the "part where the seat, tank, and side cover are connected." It can be removed by wiping with alcohol, but the tips of the decals peeled off slightly in the process (see the last two photos of the black tank section, compared to the white one). The rearview mirrors and rear turn signals have been removed and are included. I took the white one out for the first time to take these photos (the turn signals and rearview mirrors are not attached). However, it also has the same seepage as the black one from the "part where the seat, tank, and side cover are connected" on the right side (see the last two photos). This means that this "seepage" is not damage caused by display or storage conditions, but rather an inherent characteristic of the product itself. The seepage is more prominent on the right side of both models, which is likely because they were stored with the right side down. I suspect it's the deterioration of the adhesive on the seat attachment, but it's likely that similar deterioration is occurring in other products as well. I wouldn't go so far as to call it junk, but I think it was a defective product. Even so, it's an outstanding model among RZs, so it's hard to say goodbye... I would appreciate it if you could add a fee for shipping, packing, and labor. Shipping from the Kanto region is included (at the seller's expense), so please consider the actual price to be about 1000 yen less.
