It is a new item with the original tags from Masuiwaya. This is a white silk Nagoya obi with gold accents and red and pink karahana (Chinese flower) patterns. It has been worn once. It has been professionally cleaned, but there are very faint stains about 53cm and 86cm from the tip. They should not be noticeable when worn. It is a work by an artist, and I believe it cost around 200,000 yen, but it was about 10 years ago, so I have forgotten the artist's name. The obiage (sash scarf) is also a work by the same artist, with a tataki-zome (dyeing technique) design. It has been worn once. The obijime (sash cord) is reversible, in a subdued pink and purple.
