The predecessor was a company called "United Clock Company," and I believe this is a vintage clock from the 1950s. They also produced clocks such as "BIG BEN," "Baby BEN," and "scotty." The features of this clock are its compact size for travel and the shutter attached to the windshield (glass surface) to prevent scratches. It has an American vintage look and is a great item for interior decoration, but it is a valuable clock that can be used practically if maintained, as it works when wound, despite its age. ※※ Although it works, please note that maintenance or overhaul is required if you intend to use it daily, as it is a very old clock. The early clocks were made in the USA, but this one is marked as made in Hong Kong, so I think it's a later model, but I don't have much documentation, so I don't know the exact age. The construction appears to be almost the same. By the way, there was a similar clock on the desk in the workplace in Ishihara Satomi's drama (Destiny?). From the image of the back, I think it's the earlier one (1950s USA made). The box and wrapping paper are included, but they are old and not in good condition, but they give a great sense of age.
