Futabayama Sadaji, the 35th yokozuna. Futabayama established the great record of 69 consecutive victories, the most in sumo history, which remains unbroken to this day. Despite having the handicap of being almost blind in his right eye, he established his unique sumo style, "Ato no Saki" (taking the initiative after the opponent), to overcome it, and boasted unparalleled strength.
