I am selling this item because my child has grown and no longer uses it. I have confirmed that it works with batteries. (Batteries are not included for safety during shipping.) The included mat is unused. There is a small scratch or fiber trapped on the lower left of the monitor. (See photo 8) Tape has been applied to the outer box for reinforcement. The instruction manual is missing.
