Synopsis Holger Brandt, a famous Swedish violinist, finishes a concert in New York and, with his accompanist Thomas and manager, heads back to his hometown where his wife Margit and daughter Ann-Marie are waiting. Thomas decides to retire and devote himself to teaching the next generation, but the first female pianist who sought his instruction, Anita, happened to be the one teaching Ann-Marie piano. On Ann-Marie's birthday, Holger, who heard Anita's performance, invited her to be his accompanist. Thus, the two became closely connected artistically, which eventually developed into love. Anita suffered from loving Holger, who had a wife and children, and tried to leave him, but Holger strongly held her back and made her reconsider. Eventually, Holger and Anita embarked on an overseas concert tour and received rave reviews everywhere.
