'Lyocell' is a regenerated fiber made by dissolving eucalyptus in a special solvent (called solvent spinning), and because the cross-section of the fiber is circular, it has high strength and less shrinkage or strength reduction when wet. Using silk screen printing and the traditional Japanese technique of hand-printing, we create original fabrics. Made in Kyoto, this is a high-quality fabric. At first glance, it appears to be a two-color composition of sumi black and blood red, but before printing these, we use an extra-large solid plate to dye the entire fabric a slightly darker, more natural color than off-white, resulting in a total of three plates. Because the base of the fabric is not white, but a calm natural color, it does not become too flashy in combination with the old artwork, and can be worn very coolly by people of all ages and genders.
