This is a lovely and refreshing kimono, featuring a beautiful depiction of flowers on a silk fabric with a delicate, shaded, pale orange background. The hand-painted design showcases the craftsmanship and artistry of the artisan. The gentle color palette is soothing and beautiful, making it a pleasure to look at for a long time. This is an awase (lined) kimono suitable for wear from October to early May, made of silk. It is not particularly seasonal. It is carefully hand-sewn by a kimono shop, with a yellow-orange shaded lining (hakkake). This is a smaller-sized kimono. It is suitable for petite adult women, as well as young ladies who wear children's sizes 140cm-150cm. How about wearing it for tea ceremony or flower arrangement practice, tea parties, or accompanying children for Shichi-Go-San (Seven-Five-Three Festival)? Although it is a komon (small pattern) kimono, the formal-style design allows it to be worn in a similar way to a tsukesage (semi-formal) kimono. It is also suitable for New Year's, Hatsumode (first shrine visit of the year), festivals, year-end and New Year gatherings, and parties such as year-end and New Year celebrations. It is perfect for outings, travel, meals with friends, theater, museums, shopping at hotels and department stores, historical tourist sites, temples and shrines, and rural landscapes. This is a new, unworn item with some of the original stitching still intact. While there are no major stains or blemishes, there is a slight fuzziness on the back (see photo 7). It is barely noticeable when worn on a mannequin (see photo 8). Otherwise, the outer fabric, lining, cuffs, collar, and hem are all in good condition. There is no discoloration. However, there may be other overlooked imperfections. This item is a home-stored item, and is not suitable for those seeking a brand-new item as if purchased from a store.
