Kutani ware: A red-painted cylindrical incense burner. The inside of the lid is marked "Kaburagi sei" (made by Kaburagi), and it features Kanazawa-style painting with four figures resembling high priests on the front and flowers and birds on the back. It is said to be a work for export from the Meiji period. In the first photo, I noticed that the left foot of the second figure from the right is black, so I investigated it. It turned out that it is highly likely to be intentional painting by the painter, rather than a scratch or stain. There are no other noticeable scratches or color fading. Dimensions: Height 13.8cm, Width 11cm, Depth 7.7cm. Comes with a matching box (paulownia wood box, no inscription, two-way joint, with age-related discoloration).
