Yuji Amano's works are highly valuable, trading at high prices due to their delicate and vibrant designs, rarity as one-of-a-kind pieces, and a large number of collectors, making them difficult to obtain today. The title of the work is believed to be "Hana no Utage" (Flower Banquet) (from the text on the back of the box). This is a gorgeous and beautiful furisode with lovely butterflies hand-woven in a large design. While primarily pink, it is not overly flashy, exuding elegance within its subdued tones. I am listing some items from my collection as I organize my many kimonos. They were stored in a Japanese dresser. Although listed as "scratched or dirty" due to a stain on the lining, it is truly a beautiful piece. Product Description: - Furisode (Chufurisode - medium-length furisode) - Comes with a dedicated wooden box, nagajuban (under-kimono), datejime (sash), and obi (sash belt) set. The obi is gorgeous and cute, with a gold base and butterfly motifs (see photos). - The furisode has only been worn twice, but due to age, there are stains and discoloration on the lining. As far as I can tell, there are no stains on the outer surface (see photos). - It has been stored cleanly with moth repellents, so please only purchase if you understand this. - Yuji Amano's works can sell for hundreds of thousands to millions of yen, so please purchase with full understanding. - I have had it appraised by a professional kimono dealer, who confirmed its authenticity. - I am negotiating prices with several companies, so this listing will be removed once it is sold to another dealer.
