Please forgive us if it sells out. Ryuzen Murai Born in Hokkaido in 1982. Traveled to the UK in 2009. He entered the world of ink wash painting after drawing Tokugawa Ieyasu's "armor" in ink wash to have people read Inazo Nitobe's "BUSHIDO." Returned to Japan on March 10, 2011. After the Great East Japan Earthquake, he participated in debris cleanup activities in Ishinomaki City. In 2012, he became a disciple of Master Li Tiejun, a master of ink wash painting. In 2015, he began drawing "dragons" after being connected with Yamabushi (mountain ascetics) at Kinpusen-ji Temple in Nara, a World Heritage site. In August 2017, he dedicated a white dragon ceiling painting to Isshin-ji Temple (Nichiren sect) in Kyoto. In 2018, he held a solo exhibition at the Naritasan Calligraphy Museum. In May 2019, he dedicated a golden dragon and Fudo Myoo to Otaru Dewa Sanzan Shrine / Narukami Ryujin Shrine. In October 2019, he held an exhibition in front of Ise Jingu Shrine. In 2020, he dedicated an Iwaryu (rock dragon) to Ryuo-ji Temple on Okinoerabu Island.
