These are brown, almost straight-leg pants with a houndstooth or gingham check pattern. They are unlined. The fabric is suitable for fall, winter, and spring. They are also recommended for winter coordination with boots. I didn't see any noticeable stains, but there are small pills on the inner thighs where they rub when walking. You can't see them at all due to the pattern, but you can feel them when you touch them.
