I used them when my children were small, but I haven't used them recently and have been storing them. * From the time of purchase, the sharpness and blade alignment weren't the best, but I think they're fine for home use. * The scissors themselves don't appear to have any rust. * The item will be shipped as scissors only; the case is not included.
