When I used it on an iPhone 12 mini, I noticed vignetting in the corners of photos, but it was fine for video. There's a little distortion, which might be unavoidable with a 0.45x lens. I only opened it to try it out, and I haven't used it for any outdoor shooting. Apparently, you can do close-up photography by using only the macro lens component.
