I also bought this for the school festival, so I haven't used it much. It has 15 bells, each about 3cm. Sometimes, during Christmas, we'd play piano duets, and I'd suddenly decide to shake these bells, making a "shang-shang" sound. At first, I thought the larger size would sound more festive, but I realized that they were too heavy for the children to handle properly, so I quickly found these smaller ones. Even these smaller ones have a considerable weight. I think the sound was loud enough to not be drowned out by the other instruments at the school festival. Having these bells instantly puts you in a Christmas mood. Even on Christmas Day, dimming the lights and just shaking them made the atmosphere of cutting the cake so much better!
