Yashica 35, released in 1958 (Showa 33). The lens is a Yashinon 1:2.8 f=4.5cm (4 groups, 5 elements). It's a lens that produces very good images. The shutter is a Copal MXV. B, 1~1/500 seconds. This camera, which is thought to be a copy of the Contax IIa, was released by Yashica (Yashu Optical) as their first 35mm lens shutter camera! I personally acquired this camera because I was attracted to its good design, and the shutter fires at all speeds. The self-timer also works. The lens looks clear at first glance, but there is some minor mold, so it might be suitable for someone who can adjust it. The viewfinder is cloudy, but the double image can be confirmed. There is some stubborn dirt around the lens (aperture ring and shutter speed dial). The inside of the film chamber has dirt on the film guides. The light seals need to be replaced. It seems like it could still be used if adjusted. Due to the above condition, it is being sold as-is. The listing includes the camera body only. There is no lens cap.
