The driftwood has been cleaned with a brush, soaked in baking soda for 2 weeks to remove tannins, soaked in fresh water, and dried in the sun for 1 week. We take care to do the work thoroughly, but there may be sand and dirt that cannot be completely removed from the driftwood. Also, as these are natural items, there may be cracks, scratches, and splits.
