This is a 2012 Pygmalius ADVANCE, an upper-grade model. It has Thomastik-Infeld's Rondo strings. This instrument was purchased for my son to play Mozart's concerto. The sound cuts through clearly without needing to apply much pressure to the strings, making it easy to play♪ The strings were replaced just a month ago, and it comes with a brand new hard case and a brand new shoulder rest, making it a great value. While there are some minor, inconspicuous scratches from over 10 years of use (see photos 7 and 8), they do not affect the playing in any way, so please rest assured.
