I found this while cleaning out my deceased grandparents' house. Based on the storage condition and appearance, it doesn't seem to have been used, but there is some staining and fading on the box due to aging. While the paperweight itself shows no signs of deterioration, the string has faded (see photo 3). I have no idea when it was purchased, but I think it was bought over 20 years ago.
