The "HB&Cie" mark was used by the Choisy le Roi pottery kiln in France from 1878.
Choisy le Roi was a pottery kiln that flourished near Paris in the 19th century. It rapidly grew when Hippolyte Boulanger became the director in 1863, and it became H. Boulanger & Cie (H.B.&Cie), named after him.
"TERRE DE FER" (ironstone) in the image refers to semi-porcelain manufactured in France from the mid-19th century. This material has properties between earthenware and porcelain, is stronger than regular earthenware, and could be made thinner.
