I am selling this item to declutter. Shakespeare Karuta is played like Hyakunin Isshu (a traditional Japanese card game). All the words are taken from lines in Shakespeare's plays, and the picture cards feature illustrations related to those plays, so you can play even if you don't know the words. The back of the reading cards also includes a brief explanation in Japanese.
