Darkglass Microtubes X This is a distortion pedal for bass. It's practically new, purchased from Soundhouse about a month ago. I'm selling it because I'm changing my gear. It comes with the original box, user manual, rubber feet, pick, stickers, and everything else. Operation has been confirmed. There are no crackling noises or any other issues. This isn't just a distortion pedal; it allows you to specify the frequency range to distort. For example, you can distort only the high frequencies while keeping the low frequencies clean, maintaining a thick sound. It has the image of a cold and aggressive distortion unique to Darkglass. I think it's perfect for metal and heavier rock. For other genres, it feels like a pedal you'd use for that "special moment." However, if you don't crank up the DRIVE, it can also be used as an overdrive, so you can create a fairly wide range of sounds. I bought it new just a month ago, so it should be in excellent condition, but I've provided a 360-degree photo, so please check the condition before purchasing. The controls are a bit complex, so here's a breakdown: LEVEL → Adjusts the overall volume. DRIVE → Adjusts the amount of distortion. MIX → Adjusts the balance between the low-pass and high-pass signals (low and high frequencies). MID → Controls the mid frequencies after the MIX (±12dB @ 500Hz). LOWPASS → Sets the frequency range of the clean low frequencies to be mixed with the distorted high frequencies. Adjustable from 50Hz to 500Hz. HIGHPASS → Sets the frequency range of the high frequencies to be distorted. Adjustable from 100Hz (fuzz-like saturation sound) to 1kHz (sharp and modern sound).
