I've taken great care of this watch, including regular overhauls, so it's in good condition. However, I'm selling it to thin out my collection. I can't provide the overhaul completion report, but it was overhauled by SEIKO in February 2026 (Complete Service). Personally, I think the good points of the SBGX039 are: First, it has enhanced magnetic resistance. Perhaps because I use a PC all day, but when old mechanical watches come back from an overhaul, it's often noted that they were demagnetized. Next, it's non-date. Personally, considering humidity and stress on the mechanism, I don't change the date on watches with date displays, even at the end of the month. Also, the applied indices, including the second markers, are great. In Seiko terms, the Grand Quartz and Superior models also had applied indices, giving them a luxurious feel. Finally, the GS logo and the lion crest's grid dial. While it can't compare to the intricacy of the latest patterns, it's recommended for those who are tired of the trend of selling different color variations of the same dial pattern with the pretense of "imagining" something.
