These are scraps from making bags, etc. I think they were also used for handles on bags for going to and from school. From the bottom of the photo: The longest brown one is 2m x 3cm The white one is 75cm x 3cm The black one is 75cm x 3cm The slightly thinner brown one is 80cm x 2.5cm approximately. The shorter ones vary from 50cm to about 8cm. The brown ones are not all the same shade.
