However, I have stored the item in a dark place without ever using it after purchase, so it is in beautiful condition with no visible scratches or stains, at least to my untrained eye. There are cracks around the peeled-off area, and it seems like it could come off with a slight impact. To be honest, I will pack it as securely as possible for shipping, but I cannot be held responsible for any further peeling that may occur beyond what is shown in the photos. Also, the area where the string goes through is worn, but I believe this is proof that it is a genuine item that has been used.
