Sulfur dyeing, used since the late 80s, is very popular. Because it's dyed after the fabric is made, it fades easily, and the beautiful, contrasting fading that occurs with wear is the secret to its popularity. These are wide denim with a loose, baggy silhouette, similar to the Levi's 540, 560, 569, and 570, rather than the 501 or 505. Like the silver tab, this model is gaining increasing attention among 90s Levi's.
