From the time of purchase, there is a slight fuzziness characteristic of wool throughout. It is not new, so there may be some slight fluffing on the surface due to storage, but it is in a clean condition as far as I have inspected. There is a crease on the tag (see images 8-9). It has been stored at home with the cover in image 10 since the time of purchase. There is a small hole in the center of the cover.
