A transparent ink silkscreen is printed on the surface of the print (see photos 7-8). A mat is placed between the acrylic panel and the print to prevent them from touching. A string is attached to the back of the frame for hanging on the wall, but since it is a relatively small frame, it may not be obtrusive if placed on the floor. The framed piece comes with a box. Purchased at the "HEMISPHERE" event on August 12, 2012. The signature and date were added on the print margin at the event. The image is an unused cut from the photo book "polar". The prints are printed by Ishikawa himself. The artist will be present at the event venue. Naoki Ishikawa: Born in Tokyo in 1977. Completed the doctoral program at the Tokyo University of the Arts Graduate School of Fine Arts. Received the Newcomer's Award from the Japan Professional Photographers Society and the Kodansha Publishing Culture Award in 2008 for "NEW DIMENSION" and "POLAR", and the Japan Professional Photographers Society Award in 2020 for "EVEREST" and "Marebito". Major solo exhibitions include "Photographing the Light Map of This Star" at the Art Tower Mito (2016), Niigata City Art Museum (2017), Kochi Prefectural Museum of Art (Kochi, 2018), Kitakyushu Municipal Museum of Art (2018), and Tokyo Opera City Art Gallery (2019).
