This is a rugged-looking teabowl with crackle glaze. It gives the impression of Hagi-yaki. I received it when I was cleaning out my grandmother's house. It was wrapped in plastic and stored in the back of the pantry where she kept the dishes for guests, so I think it was hardly ever used. Even after receiving it, I never had a chance to use it, and it's been sitting in my own cupboard. There are no noticeable stains, scratches, or chips, but there are areas where the glaze is missing or may have chipped off. It's probably quite old. There is no wooden box, so it's unknown where it was made. It might be a bowl rather than a teabowl. I am selling it to organize my dish cupboard. Please understand that this is a used and old item before purchasing.
