The blades seem to be clean, but (especially for competitive skating) the depth of the grooves varies depending on the person, so I recommend sharpening them upon arrival. ・There is no body odor, but there is the typical rink smell. Also, the laces have a scent of fabric softener, possibly transferred from a towel. (If you are concerned, I can remove the laces or wash them before shipping, which will take a little extra time.) ・I have cleaned the skates overall, but I couldn't remove the rust on the screws of the blade covers + small dirt on the contact surface and inner grooves.
