Thank you for viewing. This is a namasu dish purchased at an antique market. The powerful peony design in line drawing is beautiful. The inside features pine, bamboo, and plum. It's designed with a large head, making it quite charming. The body has a flowing arabesque pattern. The kiln mark is said to be on the snake-eye foot. I was told it's from the late Edo period.
