Gibson Custom Shop '64 ES-335 Limited Run Murphy Lab Ultra Light Aged, made in 2021. The color is 60s Cherry, and it's equipped with two E-Bucker pickups (same specs as Custom Bucker, slightly lower output) that replicate the 1959 PAF pickups. The weight is 3.66kg. While I'll omit explanations of the ES-335 and Murphy Lab here, this is a very rare limited model, featuring gold Grover tuners, black volume/tone knobs, and a CUSTOM truss rod cover, in addition to the standard Murphy Lab ES-335 '64 model. It's a CREAM-era Eric Clapton specification. (The standard 1964 model has Kluson tuners, metal top knobs, and a black truss rod cover.) I will also include a replica Hare Krishna stamp for the back of the headstock, which Clapton himself had, given to him by George Harrison of the Beatles. (I bought it intending to apply it, but never did.) The CREAM-era Clapton specification, the so-called "Crossroads model," was released as a signature model by the Gibson Custom Shop in 2005, but now sells for over 2 million yen on Reverb, etc., and the recent Murphy Lab models are said to be better at reproducing the sound. Also, this is a Murphy Lab Ultra Light Aged model, so the body, neck, and headstock have plenty of weather checking. By the way, Eric Clapton, of course, and John Mayer also used (or used to use) this "Crossroads model." The frets have over 90% life remaining, and there is no buzzing. Since it's aged, it's difficult to see scratches, but there are no major scratches or dirt from subsequent use. Sound output has been confirmed, and the sound has good resonance and distortion. I think it's ready to use, suitable for a wide range of sounds from clean to crunch and drive. As shown in the photos, the main body, original hard case, certificates, warranty, instruction manual, and other accompanying documents will be included, along with the Hare Krishna stamp. How about it, Eric Clapton fans?
