(248✖️115✖️26mm) [7] Condition: Near-mint [8] Shape: Large natural suzuri (inkstone) ⭕️ The craftsman is outstanding in skill, recognized as a "Contemporary Master Craftsman" in 2009. ◉ This work is a long, tasteful piece that makes full use of natural stone. In particular, the unique stone patterns of Uhataseki flow beautifully like a semi-circular terrace from the top of the hill to the bottom. When a light is shone on the hill, it looks fantastic and sparkles silver. The inkstone tongue and the sea side show a dark brown color. The sides of the inkstone are finished roughly, as they are in nature. The inkstone rim, sides, and underside are thickly lacquered. The inside of the inkstone rim is finished softly overall. ○ Please compare this piece with others, as similar works are quite expensive.
