This is a white wedding kimono (shiromuku) that was in a large costume chest of my mother's, who passed away six years ago at the age of 100. It's been around 80 years. It's very beautiful, but there are fold wrinkles. I think the weave is Nishiki-ori (brocade). It has a substantial weight and is luxurious. Suitable for display or for remaking.
