This is a needlepoint embroidered handbag. I acquired it here, said to be from London and dating back to the 1950s. Handbags of this type often have a small gusset and don't hold much, but this one is characterized by its substantial gusset. I used to use it with kimonos, but I haven't been using it lately, so I'm putting it up for sale. As it's an old item, there is damage to the leather clasp and handle.
