This is the "PORTER WITH" business series, which uses shrink leather with a soft and supple touch. The leather is softened by extending the tanning process by about 7 days longer than usual, and using an oil agent in the fatliquoring process to make the leather plump and soft. This leather is characterized by a more pronounced grain than regular shrink leather, and the semi-aniline finish on the leather surface gives a sheen to the peaks of the grain, expressing a transparent depth and a sense of luxury. The distinct grain hides the original scratches and tiger marks in the leather, and makes minor nail scratches less noticeable, making it ideal for business settings. By using almost no metal fittings, the design is clean and elegant, and by minimizing the use of core materials, the natural texture of the leather is maximized. The body is made by joining two pieces of leather, and the stitching on the joined part and the base of the handle with thick thread adds an accent to the design.
