Wooden Yamanaka Lacquerware Tsubo-wan (Pot Bowls) - Set of 5 These are deep, small lacquerware bowls used during the mid-Showa period for ceremonies and gatherings. After they were no longer used, they were stored in the family storehouse at home along with other lacquerware bowls and meal trays. Size: Bowl diameter: approx. 9.5cm, Height: approx. 6.7cm Lid diameter: approx. 10.2cm, Height: 2.4cm The bowls' undersides and lids are marked with the family head's initial in red lacquer.
