Purchased at the "Beryozka" foreign currency shop in Moscow, USSR, in the early 1960s. A valuable natural amber (cherry amber) pendant top with plants (and insects) inside, processed into a teardrop shape. There is an unclear Russian inscription on the bail, which appears to be "ЯК" (the logo of the National Amber Combine). This logo was usually engraved on amber products at the time. Amber size: 2.5 cm x 3.5 cm Remarks: A Soviet-made pendant chain (see photo) will be included with your purchase. The material of the chain is unknown. Length: 50 cm. The value of the amber is high due to the large amount of plants trapped inside. A rare and vintage item made in the former Soviet Union.
