It is a honkin-gin nijū-haku yūbi nishiki (double-layered gold and silver foil, elegant brocade) obi with a tabane-noshi (bundled noshi) pattern, and a rokutsu-gara (six-section pattern) fukuro obi (formal obi). "The black background features a diamond pattern in gold thread, a boldly woven and embroidered tabane-noshi pattern, and is lavishly adorned with gold thread. The colorful woven and embroidered tabane-noshi adds an accent to the obi."
