This tea bowl features the "biwa" (lute), associated with the Year of the Snake, and auspicious Takara-zukushi (treasure) motifs such as "fundō" (weights) and "uchide no kozuchi" (magic mallet). It has a classic style with gold patterns on a white background. Although it's a zodiac tea bowl, the Takara-zukushi design allows it to be used not only in the Year of the Snake but at any time.
